Many EV charging stations do not come with a J1772 inlet to hold the charging plug, and as a result, the cable is often left to wrap around the station. This has led to complaints from EV owners who have experienced damage to their charging plug due to it falling out. In response to this issue, we have developed a SAE J1772 charging holster dock and cable holder to prevent any damage to the charging station plug and cable.
Many cable holders in the market are made of thin metal without any curved edges, leading to damage to the charging cable over time. Some holders also lack complete coverage of the J1772 dock, leaving the charger plug exposed to the elements during outdoor usage. Additionally, many holders do not provide enough space for holding the charger cable and minimize the use of screws, causing the product to become loose after several uses.
